CELEBRATING EASTER
It still amazes me that my daughter believes that a giant bunny breaks into our house each year and leaves her a basket of goodies. But I love that she gets excited about the magic of the holidays and am trying to make them last as long as possible.
While my son didn’t cope well when he found out Santa was a fraud, he finally realizes the fun of being in on the secret and helping out for the holiday surprises. Here are a ton of ways to make this Easter special in your family this year:

EASTER CELEBRATION IDEAS
1. DYE EASTER EGGS
There are so many creative ways to decorate Easter eggs thanks to Pinterest! Here are a ton I love.
2. GO ON AN EASTER EGG HUNT
We like to hide the decorated eggs in the house that morning, and do an afternoon hunt with the candy-filled eggs. Lots of places are doing drive-thru Easter egg hunts this year!
3. EAT DEVILED EGGS OR EGG SALAD SANDWICHES
I enjoy having the kids help me make a recipe with all the eggs we decorated the night before. We always make sure to use mom’s first before destroying their tiny creations. Here’s a good recipe for deviled eggs and egg salad sandwiches.
4. ATTEND AN EASTER SERVICE
With a lot of churches going virtual these days, it’s easier than ever to watch an Easter Service. Here’s one I love.
5. READ MATTHEW 28
Matthew 28 covers the story of the Resurrection and the Great Commission. It’s the perfect way to acknowledge the reason for the season. If you want a more in depth family study for Easter, check out these Easter Countdown ornaments in my shop:
6. EAT CARROT CAKE
I think my favorite part about carrot cake is the cream cheese icing…Oh, and telling the kids after they finish a huge slice that they just ate VEGETABLES.
7. PLAY “EASTER LAND”
I’ve created this simple game based off CandyLand that you and your kids can play together:

8. COLOR AN EASTER PAPER
For some down time, color a beautiful Easter page. I love these printables.
