I’m a Christian teacher, artist, and blogger here to help you revive your Bible study routine and spiritual life!

Here I share my story of redemption in how God turned the worst season of my life into something beautiful by teaching me the meaning of true joy and faith not based on circumstances.

I hope the resources and lessons that resulted from this spiritual transformation in my life help you find the unconditional joy of truly knowing Him as well.

My Story

After the birth of my second child in 2014, I developed some disturbing health issues. I experienced migrating pain, twitches, and even memory loss. Doctors had no answers and as the years went on, my list of symptoms increased.

I had trouble holding conversations, and experienced so much neuropathy pain that I couldn’t walk to bathroom on my own. Every test was normal, yet I was using a wheelchair and taking over 80 pills a day. Eventually, doctors began to question my sanity.

Finally, in 2017, I was diagnosed with late-stage Lyme Disease, which presented another set of problems. I learned that the disease is highly controversial, and navigated an underground world of Lyme treatment. Nothing was covered by insurance and communicating with doctors was often difficult and secretive. Eventually, I began to question my faith.

I felt either God didn’t care or he didn’t exist. Neither one of these lined up with what I believed about God, but my circumstances were testing what I believed about his promises.

When I realized no one else could help me, I surrendered to Him and decided to discover what it meant if God would allow this to happen and still be good at the same time.

When I decided to believe God was still good, and therefore he could make something good come from this season, my mindset completely shifted. I accepted the possibility that my circumstances may never change, but my approach to them could.

As I sought purpose in the pain, my focus turned from fighting for myself to fighting for my family, and the many people who reached out to help. I took one step in faith at a time and decided to go all in.

I began reading my Bible again and truly studying it (not to check off a list, but to discover more of who God says He is). I learned that my comfort is not his top priority, my spiritual growth is–and that this is a blessing, not a curse.

Slowly, I began to see improvements in my health and discovered a renewed joy for life and a passion for helping others.

I began blogging about these changes and shared a page of my personal Bible study notes in 2019. My readers loved my simplistic style of note-taking and my silly doodles and asked me to share more.

It’s because of our merciful Savior and people like you that I turned this spontaneous moment into an entire career of sharing the gospel through my spiritual gifts and talents! I hope the resources and lessons that resulted from this spiritual transformation in my life help you find the unconditional joy of truly knowing Him as well.

What I Believe

God Wants to Use You

There is more than one way to fulfill your purpose/calling.

Spiritual growth only happens with intention.Β

God still speaks, we need to learn to listen.

Miracles still happen, we need to look for them.

Self-Care is Not Selfish

We can’t help others if we aren’t taking care of ourselves.Β

Times of solitude and the practice of being still are needed for personal reflection and spiritual growth.

There’s peace and progress in simplification; multi-tasking and busyness don’t always equal success.

Your Story Matters

The best growth usually comes from hardshipβ€”try to see the silver lining in everything.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is all throughout your story.Β

You have a story to tell and everyone’s story matters!

β€œI just love this adventure of intentionality you are on, thanks for allowing me to be a part of it and equipping myself and other women as well!”
