These printable Foundations of Faith Bible notes covers key topics like identity, obedience, and purpose—designed to help you grow from the inside out.

The Notes That Carried Me Through My Hardest Season
Before my Foundations of Faith: Topical Bible Notes became a product, it was just me, a pen, and a whole lot of questions.
I was in one of the hardest seasons of my life—recovering from late-stage Lyme disease, mostly bedridden, trying to care for my new baby while feeling like my mind and body had completely shut down.
I didn’t have the energy to do full Bible studies or deep devotionals. But I did have space to listen. To write. To search Scripture for something solid.
And slowly, I began creating pages in my journal—not just prayers, but truths I needed to cling to. “I am” statements from Scripture. “The Lord is my…” reminders that anchored me when my thoughts felt loud and scary. Visual check-ins to ask myself: Is this truth or is this a lie?
As I wrestled through questions like:
- Who does God say I am?
- What does obedience look like when I’m suffering?
- How can I hear God’s voice clearly?
- Does my life still have purpose?
…I started collecting Scriptures, writing out what I was learning, and organizing them into themes.
Eventually, I shared these as individual printables in my shop. But over time, I realized they weren’t just scattered thoughts—they belonged together. So I refreshed the designs, added cohesive visuals, and bundled them into one easy download: Foundations of Faith: Topical Bible Notes.

The Foundations of Faith Bible Notes
These notes are similar in format to my SIMPLE Books of the Bible Notes, but they focus on themes rather than individual books. They give you the big picture of what Scripture says across different passages—all in one easy-to-follow sheet.
The 6 Foundations of Faith Bible notes include:
- Hearing God’s Voice
- Identity in Christ
- Obedience
- God’s Relationship with Us
- God’s Character
- Spiritual Armor
During those years of intense physical and mental health battles, I leaned hard on the truth of Scripture. And these were the pages I kept returning to.
The “Hearing God’s Voice” note helped me discern whether my thoughts were rooted in fear or grounded in truth.
The “Obedience” page reminded me that nearly everyone in the Bible went through trials—and that obedience didn’t always lead to ease, but it always led to purpose.
The “Identity” and “God’s Character” pages helped me remember who God is and who I am—especially when everything in my body and mind was telling me something different.
These weren’t just helpful—they were lifelines.

How to Use the Notes
These pages were created to be a resource—no rigid plan or long commitment required. You can:
- Focus on one topic per week
- Keep them in your Bible for easy reference
- Tape them into your prayer journal
- Use them as a teaching tool with your kids, small group, or youth group
- Pull one out when you need to reset your mindset or refocus your quiet time
Because these Bible notes are visual, they’re easy to come back to again and again—especially in seasons when you don’t have the capacity for something more intensive.
Once you purchase it, you’ll get instant access to print it out or use it digitally, however it fits your study routine.
If you’re working on building consistent Bible study habits, this is a great place to begin—or begin again. Whether you’re focused on identity, obedience, purpose, or all of the above, these notes were designed to give you a solid place to land.
